Mera Kathryn Corlett for Louisville Metro Council District 18

My name is Mera Kathryn Corlett, and I’m running to be your next Metro Council member. I’ve lived in this district almost all of my life; I went to preschool at the Kindercare and even had my first date with my husband at Bombay Grill. District 18 matters to me because it is my home and this community is filled with people I consider family.

Working with kids all over Jefferson County, I have seen our city’s most pressing needs and know that some of our families are struggling and were even before the pandemic. My husband is a small-business owner, so I understand that recovery has to be a priority. I know that we need to rebuild a stronger, more sustainable Louisville. I have been consistent in my dedication to service here and I am excited to continue that service as your next Metro Council representative.
