Jefferson County offers three ways to vote this year

Mail-In or Drop-Off an Absentee Ballot

VOTE FROM HOME

The deadline to request an absentee ballot was Friday, October 9th. You can check your ballot status online at GoVoteKY.com or call the Jefferson County Clerk’s Elections Center at (502) 574-6100.

Be sure to read all instructions before filling out your mail-in absentee ballot. Remember you must use a pencil or a black pen and that there is more than one location requiring a signature.

Ballot Drop Boxes are currently available in District 18 at Louisville Marriott East. There are also drop boxes available at the Elections OfficeKentucky Fair and Expo Center‘s North Wing, KFC Yum! Center‘s foyer, and the Kentucky Center for African American Heritage.

All absentee ballots must be returned by mail (postmarked on 11/3), or at a drop-box no later than 6 pm on November 3.

In-Person Early Voting

In-Person Early Voting locations opened Tuesday, October 13th and continue until Election Day, November 3rd.

Early voting sites will be open:

Monday – Saturday
8:30 am – 4:30 pm

The early voting locations are:

Louisville Marriott East

Kentucky Center for African American Heritage

KFC Yum! Center

Kentucky Fair and Expo Center (North Wing)

These are “voting super centers,” meaning that you can vote at any of these four sites.

Election Day In-Person Voting
